In a nutshell
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 mean employers, the self-employed and anyone who controls the work of others (such as facilities managers or building owners) have a duty to ensure competent working at height. This course will give you the knowledge you need.

…anyone who works at height where there’s risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury.
Course content
On this half-day (3 hour) course you’ll be given an understanding of the importance of:
• Planning and organising work at height.
• The need to assess risks from work at height and select and use appropriate work equipment.
• Properly managing the risks of working on or near fragile surfaces.
• Inspecting and maintaining the equipment used for work at height.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Additional information
This course is normally delivered over 3 hours.
Candidates who successfully complete the course can be awarded a 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ certificate of attendance and may also wish to progress to our full range of accredited health and safety qualifications such as CITB Site Safety Plus or IOSH Managing Safely.
