What we do
The aim of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ for Employers is to support local economic growth, invigorating our local business community whilst promoting as much opportunity as possible for our students. Revitalising industry links in our local area and producing motivated and work ready college leavers.
We do this through a series of initiatives including the provision of apprenticeships, providing access to government funding, accredited training for organisations and the opportunity to become an employer partner and play a part in shaping the local workforce of the future.
Who we are
The services and opportunities that 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ for Employers can offer you are similar to those provided by 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Business. When 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Business closed its doors in 2018, the services that organisations in our local community had utilised and come to expect transferred to 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ for Employers, becoming part of the college itself.
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ for Employers was therefore created, with improvements to the previous structure made possible by the close working links we have within our college itself. Our team’s aim is to strengthen links between education and industry whilst also supporting local business growth. We’ve already brought benefit to a huge number of local organisations, from household names to small independent start-ups.
