Preparation for Access to Nursing Course
Access to HE
An Access to Higher Education (HE) course will help you develop the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to prepare you for university.
You might be nervous about returning to study – particularly if you haven’t been in a classroom for some time. Our tutors are aware of this and take it into account in their teaching; you won’t be ‘thrown in at the deep end’ or tested on things you forgot years ago. The course is designed to challenge you but the ultimate aim is to help you to be successful.
As an adult, we know you have responsibilities and commitments that need to be considered alongside studying, whether that’s raising children, caring for your family, or earning money to pay the bills. Our tutors know you have other commitments, so they’re understanding, supportive and flexible. You may even be eligible for grants and financial support to assist you with the cost of studying.

I struggled in school as I didn’t have enough support. Since being at 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ I’ve met new friends, gained confidence & now my long-term goal is to be an A&E Nurse.
